Laser in the Treatment of Spider and Varicose Veins

The use of the laser from the outside of the leg in treating small varicose veins and spiders is only successful in the long term when the source of the unsightly veins are treated beforehand. All lasers have no effect on large varicose veins from the outside, so any such claim in doing so has no scientific basis. We use our lasers only after all of the responsible leaks and varicose veins have been eliminated permanently. Using laser before this step, which is frequently performed, will not be permanently effective. Lasers are extremely effective in treating facial spiders and skin pigmentation (i.e. sun spots).
